September 2019: Assistant Professor Alida Bata led a design team at the RIBA Cityscape Charrette 2019 ‘Spaces in between’. Joined by adjunct faculty Dima Alkawadriand Andy Shaw, the  team reimagined Al Ras as a city of rooftops, creating new public spaces, biodiversity and sustainable living. The charrette brought together 30 designers, including Dubai Land Department, Dubai based architects and engineers.
